Harry Hurley Out At WFPG Atlantic City, Part of Shore radio bloodbath today
There's late word out of Atlantic City today that Millennium Radio has parted ways with longtime WFPG (AM) morning talk radio host Harry Hurley, who did a politically-heavy non-sports program on the station. The controversial "Hurley In The Morning" had been a Jersey Shore staple for 16 years, predating the station's move to sports.
Also out is veteran WFPG-FM (Lite 96.9) middayer Marlene Aqua, who also had been with the operation for over a decade.
Sources say major changes in management either have happened, or soon will be on the way. No confirmation on that yet, though.
Millennium Radio Group owns and operates New Jersey 101.5 in Trenton.
